These same characteristics can also link or divide a region Examples of Cultural Characteristics Language (used me as an example) religion and heritage We were showed a map about what different counties in the country call "soda." Obviously we call it soda. Many other places in the U.S call it pop, like Mr. Schick. Also we talked about how some people just straight up call it coke. Any kind of soda is just coke. An example that was used is - hey can you grab me a coke? ~ sure. what kind? - 7up please. I was also used in another example, when we talked about me getting baptized and my head spinning around like in the Exorcist, it was a pretty funny class.
