homework 9/5/2014

In class we talked more about Socrates and his readiness to die for the system he believed in. We had a VERY deep class about death. We also talked about how Mr. Schick's dogs may have a sixth sense. The one dog, Zeus I believe, knew that there was something wrong with his friend. Taco Bell Burrito also may have become an atheist. We also came up with a theory that Socrates may have died out of curiosity to see what happens after death. We thought this because he chose to die, though he had the chance to flee Athens. We also discussed his quote "the unexamined life is not worth living." We think it means that you should plan out your life and make it count.
