Homework 8/28

Today in class we checked to see who all had entered blogs. While Mr. Schick checked our blogs we talked and played snake. I also changed the title of my blog from Adam's Human Geo to The Most Entertaining Blog Ever. It would be funny to get a few hundred views. It seems like this is going to be a contest to see who can get the most hits. It's funny to see people from so many different countries visiting people's blog. I don't think they realize that Tacobellburrito.blogspot.com is just Cody, and not a Taco Bell Burrito's blog. One thing I've found is that it is very hard to come up with one hundred and fifty words about class right now because we have mostly been just checking blogs. I think it will get easier to write about when we have notes for it to be based off of. At this point I am mostly trying to stretch this out as far as I can.

homework 8/26

John Carroll seems like a really fun school. All the students are friendly and the teachers are fair. My day started off with Mr. Schick in Human Geography. Next I had three free mods where I hung out with friends and ate some really good chicken nuggets. After the free mods I went to English 1. English seems like it will be the most intensive subject. After English I had Honors Spanish 1. To my surprise, I understood just about everything the teacher was saying. Next I was off to Earth Science, where I found out that Mr. Perry isn't nearly as bad as he's built up to be. I found him to be funny and the class went by fast. The day closed with Algebra 1. Now, not being a math person, I had pretty low hopes for this class. What I found was actually pretty surprising. The teacher does her best to keep the class fun and fair, and seems like one of the first math teachers I've had that really cares about the well being of her students. I expect my Freshman year at John Carroll to go bye fast.
